For more than 45 years, Yeshiva Ohr David has been more than a place of learning.
Under the devoted leadership of Rabbi Yosef Granovsky שליט״א, Ohr David built something rare — a yeshiva rooted in serious Torah learning, personal warmth, and a deep belief in the potential of every talmid. A place where a bochur could be challenged without being lost, guided without being pressured, and given the space to take real ownership of his growth.
Generations passed through its doors and found more than shiurim. They found rebbeim, guidance, confidence, and a path forward in Torah.
Now Ohr David is preparing for its next chapter.
Rabbi Yoni Yehoshua is joining Rabbi Granovsky שליט״א to carry this mission forward — bringing years of experience as a rebbe, a passion for student growth, and a clear vision for helping talmidim build real skills, real confidence, and a lasting connection to Torah.
Not by changing who we are.
Not by moving away from the values that made Ohr David special.
But by carrying them forward — with renewed strength, renewed clarity, and a vision for the next generation.

Gemara — learned with depth and clarity, until a talmid can read inside, follow the flow of a sugya, and take real ownership of his learning.
Halacha — studied not only from a sefer, but through real life: a kitchen, a business deal, a Shabbos question, the practical decisions of every day.
Navi and Jewish history — coming alive across Eretz Yisrael, as talmidim stand in the very places where our story unfolded.
Mussar — taught as a practical path of growth, lived through guided trips that connect responsibility, courage, and emunah to real places and real choices.
And through it all, every talmid is guided by rebbeim who know him, believe in him, and help him take his next step.
It is about helping a talmid say:
This sugya belongs to me. This halacha matters to me. This mesorah is my inheritance. This is the person I want to become.
